Over 30 years experience in exploration, mining and public company management. He holds a Bachelor of Science (Honours) degree, majoring in geology, from Monash University (Australia). His previous positions with Australian companies included CRA, Metana Minerals and Newcrest, as well as four years with Canadian major, Placer Dome in Chile and Brazil.
Mr. Woolfe has held Managing Director/CEO positions with Australian (ASX) listed and unlisted companies including Oro Verde Ltd, Serena Resources Ltd and Anchor Resources Ltd, as well as the founder of his independent consultancy company. From 2018 until 2023 he held positions of VP Exploration and VP Corporate Development with GR Silver Mining, and has been a Director of the Company since 2023.
He is a Member of the Australasian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy (MAusIMM – 30 years), Australian Institute of Geoscientists (MAIG – 11 years), a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (GAICD – 15 years), a member of the Australia-Latin America Business Council and also holds a Graduate Certificate in Applied Finance and Investment (SIA). Mr. Woolfe is a Latin American specialist and speaks fluent Spanish and Portuguese.
